Obituary: Stuart, Erma Jeanne

Age 75

STUART, Erma Jeanne (Age 75) Erma Jeanne was born to Elwyn John Leigh and Eleanor Edgeline Leigh (Roseberry) in Fullerton, CA on March 13, 1939 and joined them along with her brother John (Barbara) Leigh in Heaven on August 19, 2014.

A resident of Spokane since 1976, she had become of member of Toastmasters and the Red Hat Society.

She also received an AA degree in Business Administration in 1982 from SCC.

She enjoyed gardening, flower arranging, cross stitch and crocheting, and for the last few years was learning to play bridge.

She loved to read; received enjoyment by being an active member of her church, teaching Sunday School and helping with vacation bible school.

Erma leaves behind her sister Trena Cannon, brothers Tom (Stacy) Leigh, Chris (Mia) Leigh; sons Jeff Leyva, Peter (Svetlana) Leyva, daughters Kalita (Gary) Benway and Joanna (Chris) Eckersley, two step-sons Jeff (Sandy) Stuart, Cris Stuart; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild as well as numerous nephews and nieces.

There will be a Celebration of Life Saturday, October 4, 2014, 1:00 pm at The Unity Center of North Spokane, 4123 E. Lincoln Rd., Spokane, WA 99217.
