Democrat for Arritola

As a committed Democrat, I never imagined myself writing a letter to the editor in support of a Republican candidate. However, our choices in the 4th District state representative race are two Republicans, and since democracy is all about electing the best person to the office, I will gladly voice my support for Josh Arritola. He is clearly the best candidate in this election.

His opponent, Matt Shea, is an embarrassment. His radical views and erratic behavior call into serious question his fitness to hold public office.

Arritola, on the other hand, is a veteran and businessman with strong bipartisan support from respected leaders, such as Sheriff Ozzie Knezovich, congressman George Nethercutt and Sally Jackson.

I urge all Democrats to vote for Josh Arritola for state representative.
