Obituary: Wininger, Jeanne

WININGER, Jeanne On September 16, 2014 Marie Jeanne Wininger (nee Van Deusen) passed away peacefully with family by her side at the age of 93, in Bozeman, Montana.

Born in 1920 in Illinois, she headed west to the Rogue River Valley of Oregon where she met her husband Francis Wininger.

As a homemaker in Davis, CA, Parma, ID and Richmond, CA she raised three children: Robert, Richard and Carol.

After her children left home, she and Francis lived in Bellevue and Spokane, WA.

With the passing of her husband in 1986 she joined her family in the countryside of Clayton, WA where she chased after, accompanied to and from the bus stop and helped raise two of her grandchildren, Forrest and Anna.

They too left home and she returned to Spokane for a few years before realizing one of her final dreams, moving to the mountains of Montana with Carol and her husband Bernardo Quilico.

Our mother, grandmother, sister and friend who had a ready smile, always snuck treats to her dogs and was a master of pie crusts will be missed greatly.

A service will be held for her at Fairmount Cemetery, 5200 W. Wellesley, Spokane, WA at 11am on Wednesday, October 8, 2014.

Arrangements are in the care of Dokken-Nelson Funeral Service, Bozeman, MT.
