Rotary Club of Spokane Valley to host men’s fashion show

Rotarians from Spokane Valley and other area clubs will be modeling men’s fashions at a dinner and fundraising event Friday evening at CenterPlace.

Organized by Rotary Club of Spokane Valley, the Men of Rotary Fashion Show has been a big hit with models and spectators.

“This year we have 18 models,” said Mike Payson, president of Rotary Club of Spokane Valley. “It’s just a fun event for all of us.”

At the fashion show, there will also be live and silent auctions as well as different party games with all proceeds going to help the club’s work with programs that help children and young people in Spokane Valley.

Payson said this year the club gave a book to every student at six elementary schools during the Read Across America week.

“That was almost 2,600 books,” Payson said. “The kids really get excited about actually owning a book.”

The club also works with Toys for Tots and Spokane Valley Partners, and awards scholarships.
