Auditions

Stage Left Theater Auditions will be held for Stage Left Theater’s production of “Hit & Run VIII” on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. at the theater, located at 108 W. Third Ave. The show is a staged reading of short comedies by playwrights from Spokane and the surrounding area. A number of roles are available for men and women, ages 18 and older. Pottery Place Plus: Clay Creatures: Linda Garratt will demonstrate how to sculpt magical, scaly and winged creatures. All ages. Saturday, noon-3 p.m. Free. Fused Glass Workshop at the Dahman Barn Participants will learn the basics of working with fused glass and create a pendant. The workshop is taught by local artist Christie Zeoli. Ages 16 and older. Leatherworking Basics Students will learn how to fasten suede and leather together, sand, saddle soap, burnish, stamp, monogram, and seal, in a class taught by Stan McConnell. Drawing Fundamentals Participants will have an opportunity to learn the basics of drawing and the uses of line, shape, texture, value and form. Ages 16 years and older. Create Arts Center Classes – Open Painting: Open to beginner or advanced painters. Bring your current or future project to paint with the group.
