Speaker choices scary

Last year, I was disappointed when Whitworth University brought noted plagiarist Doris Kearns Goodwin to town for its President’s Leadership Forum.

This year, Whitworth upped the ante from plagiarist to war criminal with the selection of Condoleezza Rice. Rice will be remembered in history as an accomplice in an illegal and disastrous war, and in the torture of thousands of human beings, both in clear violation of national and international law.

I shudder to think of who Whitworth is going to bring to town next year.
