NCAA women’s tickets on sale

A special offer for tickets to the 2015 NCAA Division I Women’s Basketball Championship Spokane Regional continues through Thursday morning.

Customers who use the code SWEET16 at TicketsWest.com can purchase tickets online until 10 a.m. Thursday.

Tickets go on sale to all customers at 9 a.m. Friday.

Anyone who purchases tickets to the 2015 NCAA Division I Women’s Basketball Championship Spokane Regional (March 28 and 30 at the Arena) will be placed on a priority waiting list for tickets to the next NCAA Men’s Basketball Championship hosted at the Spokane Arena.

The Arena was a site in 2014 but is not yet on the list for a future men’s tournament.

Eagle Madness, the official kickoff celebration for Eastern Washington University men’s and women’s basketball on Thursday, has been moved inside to Reese Court due to weather concerns.

The event was originally scheduled to take place on First Street and College Avenue in downtown Cheney, but the weather forecast for Thursday evening shows a high chance of rain.

Free to the public, Eagle Madness will begin 30 minutes after the conclusion of Eastern’s volleyball match against Idaho State, which begins at 6 p.m.

Fans will have the opportunity to meet players and win cash and prizes in a number of contests.
