Obituary: Harthold, Dorothy M.
Dorothy was born in Weiser, ID in 1915 to Charles and Edith Phillips.
Her family moved to Fairfield where she graduated from high school in 1933.
She completed a secretarial course at Kinman Business University in 1936.
In 1939 she married Ancel Harthold.
They had no children and were divorced in 1967.
They lived in Hillsboro, OR where she worked for the sheriff’s office.
After moving back to Spokane Valley, she worked for VanWaters & Rogers until she retired in 1980.
She was active in Pasadena Posies garden club and a member of Millwood Community Presbyterian Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and three sisters.
She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Monday, October 27 at 1:00 p.m. at Millwood Community Presbyterian Church in the chapel, 3223 N. Marguerite Rd., Spokane, WA.
