Bernice was born to Herman and Mae Seiler on March 23, 1930 and raised here in Spokane.

Married Mel in 1952; bought a home and lived there ever since.

Along with raising a family, she worked hard all her life until retirement.

She was very kind to everyone.

She enjoyed her phone calls keeping in touch with relatives and friends, including nieces and nephews, all of whom she deeply cared for.

She absolutely loved visits with her grandkids and great-grandchildren, enjoyed reading and crossword puzzles, and always looked forward to our Sunday card games.

She is survived by her girls, Dennese, Darlene and Gina, step-daughter Susan Zeimantz and daughter in-law Marty Schumacher; her brother Kenneth R. (Phyllis) Seiler; and sisters-in-law Dorothy Seiler, Esther (Dottie) Ulbright, Ruth Harshaw and Sylvia Seiler.

She was preceded in death by her husband Mel, son Gary, sister Mildred Woods and Seiler brothers Frank H., James A., Bernard C., and Robert E. Graveside service to be held Saturday, October 25th at 11AM at Moran Prairie Cemetery at 65th and Regal.
