Vertical Introduction Class - Learn the fundamentals to climb indoors, including fitting the harness, knot tying, and proper belay technique. “Felts Field - 1927 National Air Races” - Felts Field once hosted the most popular flying event in the nation – the National Air Races. Celebrity and military pilots performed death-defying stunts and displayed the latest in flight technology of the time, through Dec. 30. A T-rex Named Sue - Through Jan. 4. See a fully assembled skeleton cast of the most complete Tyrannosaurus rex ever discovered. Creepy Hallow NW - A creepy haunted village in the woods. Village guides will provide safe escort through Creepy Hallow for those that choose to be frightened beyond belief. 11th Annual Ghoul Ol’ Fashioned Fun Halloween - Camp Dart-Lo’s 11th annual event for kids. Parents must accompany children. Haunted House for Haiti - A charity haunted house, with a theme of “Massacre at a Wedding!” Enter in groups of five or six and make your way through the maze where you will be scared by all the undead who were tragically slain at a wedding. Fall Compost Fair and Leaf Festival - Spokane County residents can learn how to compost their fall leaves in their own backyards by rotating through six learning stations. Haunted Zombie Hike - Zombies lurk in the forest of Riverside State Park. Don’t come alone and don’t stray off the path. Come prepared, as this is a hike through the woods. The terrain is uneven forest roads that have been cleared of brush and large rocks. Comfortable shoes and warm clothing recommended.
