Wildfire-weather danger east of Cascades

Associated Press
PENDLETON, Ore. — The Weather Service is warning of wildfire conditions until 11 p.m. Monday east of the Cascades. The area includes much of the Yakima Valley, the Tri-Cities and Walla Walla in Eastern Washington and Condon, Hermiston and Pendleton in Eastern Oregon. Forecasters raised the red flag warning due to expected low relative humidity of 15 to 25 percent and west to northwest winds of 20 to 25 miles per hour. The Weather Service says winds also may produce blowing dust.
