Obituary: Shove, Beverly Ann Begley

Age 77

SHOVE, Beverly Ann Begley (Age 77) Formerly of Omak, WA, passed away on September 4, 2014 in Spokane, WA.

Bev was born in Okanogan, WA on June 28, 1937.

She was the middle child of Elbert and Leona Begley.

Bev attended Christ the King Catholic School in Omak.

She moved to Spokane during high school where she graduated from Marycliff High School in 1956.

Bev moved back to Omak and married Raymond Shove on September 1, 1956.

She worked in the apple orchards around Omak and Okanogan, Keystone Fruit Company and Sears Service Department.

Bev moved to Spokane in 1988 and retired from St. Paschal’s parish office after 16 years.

Bev enjoyed traveling, attending concerts, watching basketball games as well as spending time with her family and friends during her retirement.

Bev is survived by her three children Ann (Dave) Talbot, Riverside, Randy (Nan) Shove, Spokane and Janet (Stan) Shields, Ellensburg; grandchildren Wendy (Nick) Christoph, Doug (Aime) Talbot, Brendan (Ivelca) Nintzel, Ryan Nintzel and Matthew and Ethan Shields; great-grandchildren Callie and Kinsey Christoph and Ivelia and Elowyn Nintzel.

Bev is also survived by her brother Thomas Begley of Denver, CO, and sisters Barbara Hardin of Loveland, CO, Betty Davis of Palo Alto, CA, Margaret McEnaney of Pacifica, CA; Kay McGruder of Coeur d’Alene, ID and Carol Dezellem of Okanogan.

Bev was preceded in death by her parents Elbert and Leona Begley and Ray Shove.

Services will be held September 20 at 11:00 a.m. at St Paschal’s Catholic Church in Spokane.
