“The Girl of the Golden West” The opera takes place in a mining camp in the Sierra Nevada. Showdowns, bar fights, guns and bandits make this show rollicking fun for all ages. Swinging the Night Away for Baby Serenity Fundraiser dance and workshops to benefit Baby Serenity, a 10-month old who suffers daily from seizures. Comedian Anjelah Johnson Johnson became an internet sensation with her viral video “Nail Salon” and later appeared on “MADtv” as a series regular, which then spawned another internet sensation “Bon Qui Qui.” Johnson was nominated for an ALMA Award for her work on the show. “Broadway Bound” Through Sept. 20.
