Obituary: Pirello, Angeline

PIRELLO, Angeline Angie Pirello passed away on August 31, 2014 in the Spokane Valley at the age of 94.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, September 20th at 11:00 am at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, S. 304 Adams Rd.

Spokane Valley, Wa.

Flowers may be sent to the church.

Angie was born on June 6, 1920 to Carmelo and Chiara Giuliano in Spokane, Wa.

She married Andrew “Andy” Pirello on November 27, 1937.

They lived and farmed in the “Valley” most of their lives until 1993 when they moved to Kent, Wa.

Angie was a very special woman, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.

She was a wonderful cook and hostess.

She loved children and was a school cook for many years.

She loved to garden.

Her yard was always the prettiest in the neighborhood.

She is preceded in death by Andy, her husband of 61 years; her daughter Kathy Nelson; her grandson Robbie Pirello; her brothers Joe and Tony Juliano; her sister Mary Mazulo.

She is survived by her sons Joe (Kathy); Carm (Liz) Pirello; her granddaughter Jacque (Dave) Brown; and grandsons Ryan (Michaela) Pirello; Andy (Leslie) Ruggles; many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She will be missed by all.
