Wilhite a good candidate

When I look for a good candidate, I look for hard work, actual accomplishments for our community and frugality in spending. These are precisely the attributes of Diana Wilhite, candidate for 4th Legislative District representative.

She worked night and day as a council member setting up the new city of Spokane Valley. Literally hundreds of ordinances had to be set up – all the way from how streets are plowed to where to place city hall offices. In accomplishments, she is unmatched. As mayor of Spokane Valley, she worked with the state Legislature – both sides of the aisle – to obtain funds for Greenacres Park, for Discovery Park and for construction of the Barker Bridge. As you can see, she gets things done. In addition, she is a national leader in both women’s issues and business issues.

Finally, I know of no one who more closely examined the city’s budget to find out if an expenditure was necessary, and questioned whether there was a better, less costly way to accomplish the goal. I know her; I served on council with her, and I am convinced she is the person we need as our 4th Legislative District representative in Olympia.
