Drawing Fundamentals – Participants will have an opportunity to learn the basics of drawing and the uses of line, shape, texture, value and form, using a variety of materials, including still life and photographs. Coeur d’Alene Art Grant Program – Three-year pilot program of the city of Coeur d’Alene Arts Commission seeks to widen arts and cultural participation and its expression. Program provides support from $500 up to $1,000 for projects, opportunities and events proposed by individuals, groups, organizations or communities of interest that offer a potential arts or cultural impact within the city of Coeur d’Alene. Moscow Arts Commission – The City of Moscow and the Moscow Arts Commission are seeking artists, ages 18 and older who live in the Northwest, to participate in Third Street Gallery’s upcoming exhibit, “Celebrating Wilderness: Art Celebrates Wilderness.” The exhibit celebrates the 50th Anniversary of the Wilderness Act. Original work in all mediums may be submitted for consideration; wall pieces must be framed with a wire hanger.
