Note to readers: Paper delivery delayed

A problem with the software that operates The Spokesman-Review presses has resulted in home delivery delays and some incomplete editions being delivered. “Please accept our sincere apologies,” said Kathleen Coleman, Director of Sales and Marketing for The Spokesman-Review. “It is a very complex challenge.” Delays Saturday and today are the result of a malfunction in the software that runs the water system for the presses. “We’re working to ensure that we get the problem fixed immediately,” Coleman added. To help get customers the information contained in today’s print edition, the company has opened up The Spokesman-Review eEdition with full, free access. The Spokesman-Review can be accessed at http://spokesmanreview.wa.newsmemory.com/. The eEdition is an exact replica of the print newspaper edition but is delivered digitally. It includes special features such as the ability to enlarge text, search, e-mail to a friend and more. We continue to work on a resolution to ensure timely delivery of Monday’s print newspaper edition. Delivery today was delayed about three hours.
