Liberty Lake woman suspects ex is behind incidents

A woman in the 1900 block of North Cavalier Road in Liberty Lake has reported several incidents that she believes involve her ex-boyfriend. She first reported on March 27 that he had broken into her house and burned several of her belongings in a fire pit in the back yard.

On March 31 she reported finding a video camera in her bedroom and believes her ex-boyfriend put it there, said Liberty Lake Police Chief Brian Asmus. He is also accused of sending text messages to her father after she obtained a restraining order against him, Asmus said.

The case is under investigation.
