Can’t be trusted with money

Regarding the April 8 article (“Instead of owing city, golf pro getting $108k”): The city of Spokane seems to have a problem telling whether they are owed $90,000 or if they owe $108,000, and is not willing to let anyone find out the difference.

We, the taxpayers, may not be wise to hand them large amounts of money to work with.
