She’s dumped constituents

So, our esteemed representative, Cathy McMorris Rodgers, made the mistake of actually asking people in her district for Obamacare horror stories. She certainly did get a response, too, because almost 10,000 people left comments on her Facebook page.

And guess what? Literally thousands of people shared that Obamacare had been the best thing that ever happened to them.

One can only laugh when McMorris Rodgers claims to be “independent” and “all about my district.” Because she’s not. Out of the thousands of Obamacare-positive stories, she managed to cherry-pick five that weren’t and then voted to repeal the Affordable Care Act the next day.

She ignored the fact that 15.5 percent of the adult population up to age 65 in Stevens County has signed up for Medicaid expanded by Obamacare, meaning the people of McMorris Rodgers’ childhood county are joining Obamacare at four times the national average.

One in six adults in neighboring deep-red Ferry County has signed up for Medicaid, thanks solely to Obamacare. And, as usual, the giver liberal West Side carrying the taker conservative side: King County has only a 1-in-10 signup rate.

Way to go, Cathy. Clearly, you dumped your constituents for personal political gain.
