Free agent center Stefan Wisniewski signs 1-year deal with Jaguars

The Jacksonville Jaguars have signed unrestricted free-agent center Stefan Wisniewski to a one-year contract, removing another name from the Seattle Seahawks’ list of possible replacements for Max Unger. Wisniewski started 61 games – 46 at center and 15 at guard – over the past four seasons with the Oakland Raiders. A second-round draft pick in 2011, the 6-foot-3, 307-pound Wisniewski started all 16 games at center in 2014 and was part of an offensive line that allowed the sixth fewest sacks (28) in the league. He reportedly visited the Hawks in March as they look to fill the hole at center with Unger now in New Orleans. – AP
