Bell to play in Poland

Former Gonzaga Bulldogs guard Gary Bell Jr. has signed a contract with Stabill Jezioro, a professional team in Tarnobrzeg, Poland, according to Eurobasket.com.

Bell averaged 8.2 points as a senior and 9.6 points over his four-year career. He was named the West Coast Conference’s defensive player of the year and helped Gonzaga reach the Elite Eight last season.

Tarnobrzeg is about 275 miles south of Torun, hometown of GU center Przemek Karnowski.
