Children Run Better Unleaded Spaghetti Dinner - The Silver Valley Community Resource Center presents a fundraising dinner and raffles to benefit its mission to provide a better quality of life for all of those living in the Silver Valley, including to help raise awareness of the risks of lead poisoning. Fireman’s Picnic - The Friends of Fire District No. 10 invites the public to a picnic on Deep Lake, north of Colville, to celebrate the anniversary of their formation. The group raises funds for local volunteer firefighters. The barbecue will be held 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. and is followed by an auction of quality items and pies. There will also be games for children. Gleason Fest - An annual grassroots, indie music festival benefitting Team Gleason. All proceeds of Gleason Fest will provide life-improving technology and services to those afflicted with ALS and create global awareness for the disease. Inspired by Steve Gleason, the festival has become an amazing celebration of life, love and music every summer in the streets of downtown Spokane. 18th Annual Lilac Blind Charity Golf Scramble - Fundraiser to support people who are seeking ways to remain self-sufficient and active while living with vision loss.
