Michael Phelps will keep up with two sets of times this week. One in Texas, the other from halfway around the world. When the U.S. championships begin today in San Antonio, Phelps will be the star attraction. He’d rather be somewhere else – the world championships in Kazan, Russia. The winningest athlete in Olympic history wound up at nationals as part of his punishment for a second drunken driving arrest. Phelps is eager to see what kind of times he can post in San Antonio.
