Can’t stay if not paid cash

In his July 23 letter, Eugene Vanover asked for the name of one country that does not enforce its borders. There are 26 European countries that have abolished any type of control at their common borders, also referred to as internal borders. This is a result of the 1985 Schengen agreement.

Furthermore, any immigrant, legal or otherwise, cannot work legally in this country without a work permit. So, in order to make a living here, they have to work for cash. Now then, any person who pays an illegal immigrant cash is committing a crime, so it is not only the immigrant who is breaking the law.

It becomes clear to me that if no one would be willing to hire illegal immigrants, the immigrants would have to become legal to stay, or go back home.
