Sold-out Bach @ Barrister adds second night on Sept. 1

Connoisseur Concerts, the folks who bring us the Northwest Bach Festival and Mozart on a Summer’s Eve, are adding a second night of Bach @ Barrister, after the first show on Sept. 2 sold out quickly.

The added show, on Sept. 1, also will feature cellist Zuill Bailey, the Bach Festival’s artistic director, and guitarist David Leisner. The shows coincide with the release of a new CD from the pair, featuring music by Heitor Villa-Lobos, Christoph Willibald Gluck, Camille Saint-Saëns, Niccolò Paganini, and an original composition by Leisner.

The performances will be at Barrister Winery, 1213 W. Railroad Ave., in Spokane. Tickets for the added show are going fast. Price is $45 and will include a signed copy of the CD. Visit TicketsWest.com, keyword Barrister.
