AmeriCorps VISTA – The organization seeks volunteers to fill five summer AmeriCorps VISTA (Volunteer in Service to America) associate positions from June 15 to August 14. Associates will work with a community partner to develop, implement and evaluate literacy, math and other activities for youth not enrolled in other summer programs. Catholic Charities - Drivers are needed to deliver “brown bags” to those in need of meals who are unable to obtain food themselves. Volunteers must pass a Washington State Patrol background check, have a valid driver’s license and a vehicle to use for food deliveries and be able to lift and carry bags weighing 8 to 10 pounds.
