Obituary: Dillon, Tom James

DILLON, Tom James (Age 71) Our loving father and grandfather, Tom James Dillon, 71, passed away on August 18th, 2015 at his home.

Born in 1943 in Seattle, WA, he was the son of Joe and Marjorie Dillon.

Tom graduated from Lewis & Clark High School in Spokane, WA.

Tom was a Securities Trader for four decades during which time he founded Dillon Securities, and eventually retired from Pennaluna & Co. in Coeur D’ Alene, Idaho.

Tom enjoyed motorcycle riding, belonging to the Desert Motorcycle Riders Club in Indian Wells, CA.

He especially loved discovering new roads and sharing his memorable rides with his many friends.

He will be remembered for his love and caring of his family, friends and his beloved dog Lilly.

He is survived by his children Mark and Chris Dillon and their mother, Linda Dillon, his daughter-in-law, Lisa Dillon, his grandchildren, Ashley and Brittany Dillon and Mikayla Penna along with his sisters Karen Pierson and Nancy Dillon and brother Scott Dillon.

He also leaves behind his partner Mikie Judd.

He is preceded in death by his cherished mother Marjorie Dillon, and his father Joe Dillon.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, August 25th, at Spokane Christian Center at 2:00 pm, 8909 E. Bigelow Gulch Rd., Spokane, WA., with a reception to follow at Curley’s Hauser Junction in Hauser, Idaho.

Memorial donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the Kootenai County Humane Society in Tom’s name.
