Obituary: Ferguson, Stephen

Age 98

FERGUSON, Stephen Stephen Ferguson father, grandfather, and friend has joined our Heavenly Father on Sunday, August 9th, 2015 in Bellevue, WA., age 98.

Stephen was born March 17, 1917 in Spokane, WA.

He is preceded in death by his parents Stephen Farrington Ferguson, Jr. and Edith Mary Forsythe; sisters: Selma Guess Taskey, Doris Guess Knight; brothers: James Forsythe and Edwin Clark Ferguson.

He graduated from North Central High School in 1935.

Stephen was an Air Control Tower Operator at Felts Field Airport during the war.

He owned the Ferguson Tire Shop on Sprague Avenue in Spokane, WA., then moved to Santa Cruz, CA for 25 years; then to Issaquah, WA.

in 1995.

Stephen loved to golf and after age 75 got three Holes-In-One.

He is survived by his wife of 76 years, (married January 14, 1939), Marjorie Maria Day of Bellevue, WA; son, Stephen E. and Sue Ferguson of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho; daughter, Pamela Ann and Jim Wicks of Redmond, WA.

; grandchildren: Bonnie and Paul Askham of Forrest Hill, MD., Scott and Dani Ferguson of Haiku, HI., Cindi Wicks of Honolulu, HI., Dan and Helen Wicks of Phoenix, AZ.

; four great-grandchildren, lots of nieces and nephews.
