Age 93
PLATZ, Darwan Russell (Age 93) Darwan R. Platz passed away August 23, 2015 in Spokane, Washington.
He was born November 5, 1921 to Oliver Platz, and Agnes Gutches in Moscow, Idaho.
He is survived by his son, Dennis and wife Gail Platz; two daughters, Shannon Kelly, and Maureen Jones; and numerous grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Diane V. Platz, and son, Monty Platz.
Darwan was disabled during his Military Service in WWII in the U.S. Army.
He enjoyed bowling, horseshoes, leatherwork and was an avid Fly fisherman, tying his own flies.
A funeral service will be held Friday, August 28, 2015, 10:00AM at the Ball and Dodd Funeral Home.
Interment will follow at the Viola Cemetery located in Viola, Idaho.
