Obituary: Harty, Betty Jean
Age 90
She was born in Mobridge, SD on August 29, 1925 to Frederick and Esther McMacken.
At the age of 6 she and her family moved to Montana.
Betty always put her family first.
She enjoyed flowers, gardening, volunteering at various senior centers, traveling, and caring for her grandchildren.
She was also a wonderful cook and was famous for her baked goods, Christmas treats and strawberry jam.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, husband Ralph, daughter Karen (Bill) and son Bob (Katy).
She is survived by her brother Lee (Beulah) McMacken and her son Rick (Bonnie).
A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at Fairmount Memorial Park, 5200 W. Wellesley.
