Obituary: Peterson, Roy Verle, Jr. “Bud” “Rv”

PETERSON, Roy Verle, Jr. “Bud” “RV” (Age 63) “RV”, who lived with Metastatic Melanoma for four years, died peacefully at home August 14, 2015.

Born and raised in Spokane, he graduated from Ferris HS in 1970.

He and wife/partner, Barbara, lived a fulfilling life on their mini-farm for 37 years, raising gardens and animals, sledding, and x-c skiing.

Years of road trips, softball, volleyball, music festivals, biking, camping, canoeing, playing pool with friends and family rounded out a good life.

Know as “Bud” to his work mates, he worked on a foundation crew as a young man, then became an ironworker, primarily working at Central Premix.

Ultimately, he ran his own successful business, True to Form Footings, for residential and commercial construction.

He is remembered by friends and family as the coolest brother, uncle, friend anyone could ask for, a strong, warm, sincere and generous man with a high sense of fairness.

He enriched our lives, making and sharing a lifetime of good memories.

RV in his Jag will not be easily forgotten.

We are so very thankful for the amazing support of friends, family and Hospice of Spokane throughout this summer.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate the Circle of Life at their home, September 19, from 2:00pm.
