Not representing us

As I sit here and read Donna O’Leary’s Nov. 18 letter (“Busy on her days off”), praising Cathy McMorris Rodgers, I find it humorous how naïve she is thinking McMorris Rodgers is working for Eastern Washington. Donna goes on to say how McMorris Rodgers made “heartfelt remarks” and “reached out” to our veterans.

Really, Donna? Did you know that she reached out by voting down every bill that would help our veterans And then she had the audacity to show up at the memorial?

She has been nothing but a corporate puppet for the Republican Party. She has done absolutely nothing for the Fifth District of Washington for the past 10 years. She has tried to repeal Obamacare dozens of times along with her other heartless cronies, who don’t care about the citizens of this country who have no health insurance.

My advice to her is you better do some serious fact-checking on the congresswoman you think is representing us. What our Fifth District needs is a congressman who will really do the job. Vote Joe Pakootas in 2016, a man who knows what real representation stands for.
