1. TubaChristmas 1:30 p.m. Saturday, STA Plaza rotunda, 701 W. Riverside Ave. A Merry TubaChristmas performance features traditional Christmas carols arranged for tuba-euphonium choir. Tuba and euphonium players of all ages are welcome to participate. Registration and rehearsal start at 9:30 a.m. followed by a concert at 1:30. 7. Friday Musical 1 p.m. Friday, St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, 5720 S. Perry St. Holiday celebration features two area youth choirs, Chanson Nouvelle and Crescendo’s Concert Choir. The Chancel Choir and Community Orchestra present “The Heart of Christmas – Embracing the passion of those who lived the story,” along with special music by Cynthia Marlette and the orchestra.
