Idaho’s Perrion Callandret named Big Sky player of week

Idaho junior guard Perrion Callandret has been named the Big Sky Conference player of the week, the league office announced Monday.

Callandret scored a game-high 25 points as the Vandals beat he Cougars last Thursday, 78-74. Callandret shot 7-of-13 from the field, including 2-of-4 from 3-point range, and his 9 of 13 foul shots.

Callandret was also named the College Sports Madness Big Sky Player of the Week.

The Vandals next take on New Hope on Friday at 7 p.m.
