Kennewick woman injured in truck rollover south of Ritzville

A Kennewick woman was injured in a crash south of Ritzville just after 7 a.m. Friday, the Washington State Patrol reported.

Judith M. Thompson, 50, was taken by ambulance from the scene of the crash on State Highway 395 about 18 miles south of Ritzville, according to a news release. She was riding in a 2007 Dodge pickup driven by 54-year-old Brent Arens when it slid into the median and eventually rolled onto the passenger side, according to the WSP.

Both Thompson and Arens were wearing seatbelts. Arens was not injured the crash, according to the WSP.

Thompson was initially taken by ambulance to East Adams Hospital in Ritzville. She’s since been brought to Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane, where her condition was not immediately available Friday afternoon.

Initial reports indicate the pickup was traveling too fast for conditions, according to the WSP.
