Alton is at it again

So, I see that Elvin D. “Duane” Alton and his Citizens for Responsible Taxation (all three of them) are at it again with their screaming yellow, fear-mongering and utterly dishonest fliers. Alton’s apparent motivation is to reduce his own property tax bill (which would probably support quite a number of average families), regardless of the damage to the school districts that they attack.

Alton exhibits a profound disdain for the intelligence of the average voter that I find extremely insulting. We are very fortunate that none of his bids for elective office (in 1977, 1978, 1984 and 1994) were successful.

I am not, and never was, an employee of any school district, nor am I the parent or grandparent of a school employee. I am just a retiree who wants to see quality education in all of our communities, and who will vote for financially prudent levies and bonds that make that possible.
