Finch modernization amazing

As a former student (1944 to 1952), I attended the recent open house for the remodeled Finch School. My connection to Finch also includes my mother, Emma, who taught there for over 25 years.

What a great accomplishment; saving the old structure and adding a new wing that matches the original building. She would have been amazed at the changes and improvements.

This is a great example of how the Spokane school district wisely uses our tax money, both bond and levy dollars. I urge voters to mark their ballot yes for the current issues so the next steps in modernizing and maintaining our schools can go forward.
