Four corners: Idaho Vandals

Coming up: Tonight at Montana State, 6; Saturday at Montana, 6 p.m.

Outlook: It may seem hyperbolic to use the words “must win” at the halfway point of the conference schedule, but Idaho’s trip to Bozeman to face Montana State seems like it. The Vandals are teetering the line between qualifying for the Big Sky tournament and being left out. A loss to the last-place Bobcats would bring the Vandals to within a game of last place. Winning today is important because it’ll be a lot harder to do so on Saturday when the road trip is capped in Missoula against Montana. The Grizzlies are one of three teams realistically vying for the Big Sky’s regular-season crown at 7-2 in conference play.
