Seahawks’ Marshawn Lynch won’t face fines for Super Bowl week

Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch fulfilled all his media obligations during Super Bowl week and will not be fined. NFL spokesman Michael Signora said in a statement that Lynch fulfilled the obligation to attend all media sessions prior to Seattle’s 28-24 loss to New England. Lynch never appeared for more than 5 minutes at any of the three availabilities, saying at media day, “I’m just here so I won’t get fined.” In addition, Signora said Lynch will not be fined for the hat he wore all three days. Lynch wore a hat for his “Beast Mode” clothing brand. The hat was made by and given to him by an NFL licensee, New Era, and was in team colors, Signora said. – AP
