Huskies women defeat Oregon

Associated Press

SEATTLE – Kelsey Plum scored 20 points and Washington beat Oregon 70-55 on Sunday.

Jazmine Davis had 15 points and Talia Walton added 10 points and 10 rebounds for the Huskies.

UW (18-6, 7-5 Pac-12) fairly dominated the first half, and Plum led the way with 12 points as the Huskies built a 38-29 lead.

It could have been worse had it not been for Oregon’s Jillian Alleyne, who scored 15 points and grabbed 13 boards before the break, her 20th double-double of the season.

Oregon (11-12, 4-8) had trouble finding shots for Alleyne in the second half, and she finished with 19 points and 19 boards.
