Red wine, chocolate and ‘Chocolat’

Pilgrim’s Market is hosting a free movie night in celebration of Valentine’s Day.

The film screening, along with a wine and chocolate pairing, starts at 6:30 p.m. Thursday.

“Chocolat,” released in late 2000 and rated PG-13, follows an optimistic chocolatier (Juliette Binoche) who moves to a French village with her daughter at the beginning of Lent, falls in love with a river gypsy (Johnny Depp) and bucks tradition in a highly traditional town.

The event takes place at the market, 1316 N. 14th St. in Coeur d’Alene. Participants must be 21 or older. Call (208) 676-9730 to RSVP. On the Web: www.PilgrimsMarket.com.
