Krakauer’s latest book, ‘Missoula,’ looks at campus rape
NEW YORK — For his next book, Jon Krakauer is looking into a series of campus rapes at the University of Montana.
Krakauer’s “Missoula: Rape and the Justice System in a College Town” will be released April 21, Doubleday announced last week. The publisher plans a first printing of 500,000 copies and calls the book “a stark, powerful, meticulously reported narrative” about assaults on several women.
Krakauer’s other works include “Into the Wild,” “Under the Banner of Heaven” and “Where Men Win Glory.”
