Obituary: Herrbach, Pauline A.

HERRBACH, Pauline A. Beloved Mother and Friend A Memorial Service is to be held at 10:00 am on Friday, February 20, 2015 for Pauline “Pauly” Agnes Johnson Herrbach at Ball & Dodd Funeral Home, 5100 W. Wellesley Ave, Spokane.

Pauly passed peacefully Monday, February 16th at home, surrounded in love at the age of 85.

Pauly was born August 31, 1929 to Walter and Madge Johnson in Wenatchee, WA the youngest of six children.

She grew up in Spokane attending Libby Junior High the year it opened and graduated from Lewis and Clark High School in 1947.

Pauly is preceded in death by her loving husband of 44 years, Lou Herrbach, her son, Stephen as well as her five siblings: Clara Young, Esther Bagley, Edna King, Helen Ehrgott and Glen Johnson.

She is survived by daughter-in-law Lona Herrbach, son Paul (Shirley), daughters Barbara Herrbach-Neder, Cindy Hart (Ken) and Sally Hillebrandt (Rich).

She experienced great joy in her 12 grand- children, 4 great-grandchildren and more extended and blended family throughout Spokane and the Boise Valley.

After marrying in Coeur d’ Alene in1951, Pauly and Lou raised their family in Nampa, Boise, and Idaho Falls, Idaho before returning to Spokane area in 1979.

She was active in her community.

Pauly enjoyed Volkssporting, Red Hats, Food Bank volunteering and attending the theater with her friends.

She was a proud, loyal Wayne Newton fan club member for over forty years.

Pauly was creative, intelligent and accepting throughout her life which resulted in an enormous amount of lifelong friends and family ties who will miss her dearly.

She considered herself a child of God.

Her faith and love for her Lord and Savior was her greatest strength and comfort in life and is now her eternal joy.

Pauly will be interred at Spokane Memorial Gardens.
