The show starts at 7 p.m. at the school, 3020 E. 37th Ave. Tickets are $3.

More students selected for Act Six

More area students have been awarded an Act Six scholarship, a full-ride scholarship to Gonzaga or Whitworth universities. Jeff Louissaint (Ferris High School), RaSasha Montgomery (Central Valley High School) and Bao Tran (Rogers High School) will attend Whitworth.

Siniva Areta (Ferris), Kathy Au (Rogers), Henadz Krukovich (Rogers) and Jennifer Phan (Gonzaga Preparatory School) will attend Gonzaga.

The students competed against applicants from 24 area high schools in a three-phase selection process.

Phase 1 involved completing an application, which consists of four essays, two letters of recommendation, test scores, transcripts and a FAFSA forecaster. Students were brought together in Phase 2 so evaluators could see how they worked in groups.

In Phase 3, semifinalists were admitted to the university they were in the running for and stayed on campus for two-and-a-half days, wrote another essay and completed one-on-one interviews, group activities and faculty discussions.
