Age 105
HEINE, Elsie Marie Elsie Marie Heine went to be with her Lord and Savior on February 25, 2015, at the age of 105.
She was born on September 26, 1909 in Genoa, Nebraska to William and Elizabeth Detmer.
She was the second of five children.
She grew up in Spokane and married Paul Heine in 1929.
They were blessed with four daughters: Phyllis, Velda, Florine, Suzanne.
Elsie was an expert quilt maker, gardener, Scrabble player and cake decorator.
She loved the Lord and shared her faith with her family.
She was blessed with 15 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of her Life will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at 2:00pm, at Fairwinds, 520 E. Holland, Spokane, WA 99218.
