Shark Month - Millwood - Just when you thought it was safe to go back into the water. Create a cardboard shark and use it to test the science of how sharks float in the water. Make shark jaws from paper plates and learn fierce facts about one of the most dangerous creatures underwater. Spokane Valley hosting Pokemon Trading Card Game City Championships - Pokemon Trading Card Game players, their supporters and Pokemon fans from Spokane Valley and surrounding areas are invited to attend the 2014/2015 Pokemon City Championships. Players from three age divisions will compete to earn championship points that count toward a potential invitation to the 2015 Pokemon World Championships this summer. Players of all ages and skill levels in good standing are encouraged to participate in the open, family-friendly event that serves as a great opportunity for new players to compete in premiere events for the first time. 11 a.m. Uncle’s Games, 14700 E.
