Langenhorst & Self-Merritt CPAs, P.S. has promoted Erin Denney from senior tax accountant to tax manager and Leeanna Caldwell from tax manager to senior tax manager. Denney has been with the firm since September 2008 and Caldwell has been with the firm since November 2013.

Education

Beth Blakesley has been named editor-in-chief of the Journal of Academic Librarianship, one of the top publications in the academic libraries field. Blakesley is the associate dean of libraries at Washington State University and has been with WSU Libraries since 2003.

Gonzaga University has received the 2015 Community Engagement Classification from the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching. This classification recognizes institutions that demonstrate exceptional community engagement practices.

Vincent Alfonso has been named to a three-year term on the American Psychological Association’s Board of Educational Affairs. Alfonso has been dean of the Gonzaga University School of Education since 2013.

Finance

Inland Northwest Bank has promoted Holly Poquette to executive vice president and chief financial officer and TJ Brill to senior vice president and commercial team leader. Previously, Poquette was a senior vice president and chief financial officer. Brill was previously a vice president and commercial team leader.

Wells Fargo named Brian Norris to its Business Banking team as vice president and senior business relationship manager. Norris is a Certified Financial Planner and has 28 years of experience with financial services, including roles in branch management, credit administration and relationship management.

This is an exclusive group of advisers recognized for their success in building consultative, fee-based businesses. PAML has hired Mindy Preston Dabell as a genetic counselor. She is certified through the American Board of Genetic Counseling and is a licensed genetic counselor in the state of Washington. Previously, she was a laboratory genetic counselor at Signature Genomics Laboratories.
