Obituary: Dyer, Lawrence E.

DYER, Lawrence E. Passed on Sunday January 18th just nine days shy of celebrating 59 years with the love of his beloved wife, “Gracie”.

He is pre-deceased by his parents Gertrude and Ted Dyer and his grandparents, Mayor and Mrs. Leonard Funk.

Larry was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and most recently great-grandfather who left a legacy to his entire family of determination, enduring work ethic, gentle authority, and simple honest love.

As a Spokane local he had a full career in construction which he entrenched into each child over years of remodeling their neighborhood.

He leaves a large and loving family including: wife Grace; children, Mike, Monica, John, James, Mary Ellen; grandchildren GJ, Suzanne, Miranda with great grandson Elliot Gray Bowman; and extended family including nephews and nieces Ted, Pamela, Christina, and Rebeka, Joseph, Jeanie, Bill, and Tim Bouten; and great-nieces and nephews Trevor, Claire, Alisa and Rachael.

Rosary will be at Lady of Lourdes on Thursday at 7pm with Funeral services Friday starting at 10am.

Burial will follow after.

In lieu of flowers please donate in memoriam to the regional Parkinson’s Foundation or Catholic Charities.
