GOURD, Paul E., Lt.
Colonel (Age 96) Passed peacefully on January 16, 2015.
Born in Haverhill, MA, he served our country in WWII, Korea and Vietnam until he retired from the US Air Force in 1971 and settled in Spokane Valley with his wife of 52 years, Jennie (Marie Joan Rotunno).
He was a man his family grew up honoring, respecting and always looking up to and he will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his two sisters, Catherine Tonkin and Theresa Jones, his seven children, Pauline Smelcer, Patricia Hall, Michele Vissotzky, Monica Gourd, Suzette Gessel, Regina Gourd-Bademian and Michael Gourd and 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
